Half-Life 2 For Sale?

Interesting. I’m getting excited, but I won’t play like anyone else won’t until Tuesday. Unless, of course, VUG agrees to release it early officially, which I highly doubt will happen. Keeping the ‘Steam News’ RSS feed in my favorites helps :).

Hey, check out the fans (blue and 2 of them) that I ordered. 33 CFM and 29 decibels. (of course, I will connect them to a controller if that’s still too loud :))

Half-Life 2 Copy Sold

Well, apparently, someone has a copy. I haven’t read the full thread to see if it let him play once he activated, but I hate him anyways. It doesn’t seem to be fake.

Link

Looks like Best Buy slipped up.

Also, in your face people who thought they would release early if one or two people activated.

Reminder

It appears that you cannot play the game even if you attempt to activate.

Edited: Ok, this is confirmed, they can’t play. Looks like some people at steampowered.com’s forums were a bit too excited

Best Buy is now selling Half-Life 2 officially according to the SteamPowered.com forums.

Annoyances With XP

What’s really bothering me in Windows at the moment is this little icon that says there are updates available. (referring to SP2) I keep the updates on ‘download and notify me’, but shouldn’t there be a way to ignore certain updates? I know you can AFTER you install SP2, but I don’t want it.
